Guided Sea Kayaking - Beaches & Bays - Departs Marahau at 8:30am starting with a scenic water taxi transfer to Torrent Bay. After a full briefing it’s time to hit the water, to discover the beautiful beaches, tidal estuaries and rivers of the most scenic kayaking area of the park – Anchorage Bay to Bark Bay. Pause at a sheltered cover for lunch (included) with time to explore, swim, snorkel or sunbathe on the golden sand. On your return journey, if the winds are favourable the kayak sails will be hoisted and you will sail back to Torrent Bay, stopping at Pinnacle Island to view the seal colony. Back at Torrent Bay Lodge, freshen up and rejoin the boat for your cruise back to Marahau, arriving approx 4:30pm. Includes 4 hours paddling.

 

 

Abel Tasman Cruise & Swing Bridge Walk - Departs Kaiteriteri or Marahau at 9am, 9.40 am & 12.15pm. Experience the most beautiful part of the park commencing with a cruise to Torrent Bay then a forested walk to Bark Bay including crossing the Swing Bridge at Falls River. Rejoin the boat at Bark Bay arriving back into Kaiteriteri or Marahau approx. 3.15pm, 4.30pm or 5.30pm. Walking time approx 2 hours. Transfers available ex Nelson or Motueka (extra). A packed lunch can be ordered.

 

3 Hour Cruise - Enjoy the comfort of our luxury catamarans as we cover up to 120 kilometres of sheltered waterways and bays of the Queen Charlotte Sound. Full day catamaran sailing cruise exploring the Abel Tasman National Park coastline A great day on the water combining sailing and sightseeing with beach stops and heaps of fun. A nice balance of scenic cruising close to the coast, exploring tidal lagoons, and fast sailing when the breeze is up. Highlights include the much-photographed Split Apple Rock, a delicious lunch included, mystery beach stops, a visit to a NZ fur seal colony, swimming, sunbathing, snorkelling, native marine birdlife and lush NZ native forest. A delightful way to experience the magic of rail combined with a wine trail through the rolling pasturelands of Wairarapa. Leave the train at Featherston and board your Transit coach to Martinborough where you will visit four vineyards and taste some of the areas award winning wines. Lunch is included in one of Martinborough's many delicious cafe’s. Complete the day with a visit to Martinborough Wine Centre where guests have the opportunity to choose from a selected list of Wairarapa wines or a delicious cheese board and coffee. Harbour Cruise - After departing Queens Wharf we fly south directly over Wellington Airport, enroute for the outer suburbs of Eastbourne and Petone. From here we track across Wellington Harbour and Somes Island before viewing the city centre including Te Papa and the Beehive. Duration approx. 15 minutes.

 

 

South Coaster - Combine the best of the city with the country. Head south via Island Bay and follow the coast past Red Rocks to the renowned Karori Rock Lighthouse and seal colony. From here we track back towards the city over the rugged hills of the south coast. On a clear day this flight offers superb views of Cook Strait and the South Island. Marlborough Sounds Safari
Escape Wellington and head across Cook Strait to explore the beautiful Marlborough Sounds. After flying over Ship's Cove where Captain Cook anchored the Endeavour, we travel on to Endeavour Inlet and visit Furneaux Lodge. Enjoy a stroll along the beach before boarding your helicopter for the return flight to downtown Wellington taking in aerial views of Te Papa and the Beehive before landing. Duration approx 20 minutes.
